Using the site
You may read, link to and share any page. The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. The examples are checked with TypeScript on every build, but TypeScript changes and mistakes happen: test anything you adopt in your own project before you rely on it.
The code examples
You are welcome to copy the code examples into your own projects, commercial or not, without attribution.
The writing and the data
The site's own text and its data files are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license: you may copy, share and adapt them for any purpose, as long as you credit "JS with Types (jswithtypes.com)" and link to the page or file you used. The data page shows a credit line. Quoted material from others keeps its own license (below).
The page design (layout, styles, icons and images) belongs to JS with Types and is not covered by that license.
Material from others
TypeScript's diagnostic messages and option descriptions are quoted from TypeScript, which is published under the Apache License 2.0. The descriptions of four top-level config keys are quoted from the tsconfig.json schema published by SchemaStore, also under the Apache License 2.0. The third-party notices list what is quoted, from where, and under which license.
TypeScript, Visual Studio Code, Node.js, Deno, Bun, Cloudflare, Express and other names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Links to other sites are there for reference; those sites are not under our control.
The types finder
The types finder asks the public npm registry about the package you name and shows what the registry returns: versions, licenses, deprecation notices and the fields that point at type declarations. That information comes from the packages' publishers and from npm. The tool's answer is a reading of that metadata, not a promise that a package's types are complete or correct; check the package before you rely on it. Your use of the registry through the tool is also subject to npm's own terms.
